Fun-filled weekend

There was no shortage of excitement for the Galligans this weekend. Bryan almost killed himself for a good cause; riding his bike from Houston to Austin to fight Multiple Sclerosis and to support our good friend Kris Looney. Despite 20 mph headwinds, and very little training, he made it. A little more sore for the wear, but a lot better for the experience.

Mason and I spent the weekend in Houston in a marathon of adventure. First we went to the zoo to see the baby giraffes and elephants with Nina, Memaw, and Uncle Greg. I can tell you the carousel rates right up there with the Santa in the Mall, she wanted nothing to do with it - her poor Nina was stuck on the ride with a screaming, terrified toddler! Then, Mason chased dozens of ducks and baby ducklings around the pond with Nina and Poppi. We ended the weekend cheering Bryan in at the finish line. All in all, a great weekend.

Welcome to Life with the Galligans!

It has come to our attention that our busy (read: crazy) life is leaving many of our family and friends wanting to know more about what us happening with the Galligans. Who am I kidding? Really, all you want to know about is what is happening with Mason (and our soon to be new addition). But, humor me, will 'ya? So, we thought we would step into the 21st century (about 7 years too late) and start a family blog. We will write as often as we can and give quick updates, pictures and videos.
