We got moved to the recovery floor today. Which means that one of us will stay with Blake at all times and take care of him with the assistance of nurses. This is a really exciting day, and a fantastic way to celebrate Blake's two-week birthday!
The doctors also agreed they are comfortable releasing us back to Austin, but his surgeon wants to see him again before giving the final ok, and he's on vacation until Thursday. So, that means we're in Houston until then and they hope to release us home instead of to Dell Children's which would be wonderful.
Everything is going as well as we could hope, we are truly blessed.

Congratulations on getting into the recovery floor! I have been praying for your family and I keep up with how Blake is thru Meg Harris (we were childhood friends and our Williams' are in the same daycare class)
I will keep Blake and yall in my prayers. He sure is a little fighter!

Michelle & I saw Blake and was amazed at how good he looks. It's hard to believe what all he has been through. It looks like everyone's prayers are being answered with his remarkable strides. We continue to pray for Blake's full recovery.
Great News Tiff! Just looking at the pictures of him you can tell each minute he gets stronger. Cant wait to meet him.
