Post-Surgery Photo

He looks so good! His lips and toes and fingers are pink, and his oxygen saturation is 99%! They were easily able to extubate him and he's breathing minimal oxygen through the nasal canula. I wish words could describe how wonderful he looks!

A member of your church shared your blog with me. My daughter Madison was born on May 2nd. Her original diagnosis was HLHS. Though, her little heart is more complicated than they expected and they are not even sure which ventricle she has . We have made it through our first surgery (BT Shunt) and heart cath procedure to open up access to her LPA. Dr. Frasier is also our surgeon!

Your little guy is incredibly cute. So glad he made it through surgery so well! It is so encouraging to see such healthy, beautiful heart kiddos.

Your family will be in my prayers.

Sincerely,
Brandi Gandy

I was checking out how amazing he looks, and you're right, I've never seen his color so good!

While I was admiring Blakey, I noticed Buzz staring at me...he's kind of giving that sassy, 'don't mess with my little man' look...i like it!
